Waiting, the cold air breezed across his face sweetly. His eyes opened, blazing defiance, he was ready. He strode into the night, imbued heavily with rigid purpose, nothing would stop him now. The man that had gotten in his way, the fiend who had obstructed his path, would be removed. Robbed of his illumination, he had fallen desperately into wicked depravity. Now he felt only calm, as he reached the place where they hid away during the nights, and found them asleep in each other’s arms. His only light had been taken from him. Crying now he killed them both.
